My Bio
Scott was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 21st, 1989. He grew up across the nation, living in Dayton, Ohio, San Diego, California, and Ashburn, Virginia. As a kid he was always the curious type; he often enjoyed exploring form and function through creative play with LEGO and similar activities. He would eventually develop a knack for both artistic sketching and math.
In high school, he pursued these interests further, eventually deciding to apply for the School of Architecture at Virginia Tech. After his foundation year, he decided that he did not want to design buildings, but he did want to design. He soon discovered Industrial Design, and knew that it was what he had been looking for. Through his education in the school, he has learned to hone his creative skills as forms of communication and discussion, rather than artistic expression. He specializes in character design and storyboarding, but will draw anything or anyone that comes his way.

Well Spring Semester has suddenly and climatically ground to a completion. I really do not know where the time went. It seems like just last week I was getting my first project brief. It has been a roller coaster of a semester. Had a great first project, a sort of good second (group) project that was quick and frantic and complicated by me being out of town for my brother's wedding (as it was a group project), and a massively stressful furniture design-build project.
The design-build was definitely fun, but also slow-paced, yet somehow fast paced, and near the end, hair-rippingly aggravating (some of my later ideas just weren't as easy as an

Birthday Bonanza

Ok well it wasn't really a bonanza, but I had a nice 21st birthday with a visit back home. Got to hang with friends for a while on Saturday, and then on Sunday had a lunch at Benihana complete with trying some sake. Interesting stuff! The highlight, as far as gifts go, was my new Wacom Intuos4. After lunch, my parents asked if I wanted to go to the store and pick out a tablet. I have mentioned to them in the past that someday I'd love to have a tablet, but I was not expecting to get one right then and there.
